My name is Isabella Angulo but I normally go by Isa. I was born in Barranquilla, Colombia. I came to the United States with my family when i was just 8 years old so I am very proud of my culture. Spanish is my first language and I continue to use it in my everyday life. I am a second year student currently pursuing a Visual Arts Studies BA with a double minor in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. I plan to study abroad in Italy this fall to expand my knowledge and experience in the arts. I haven't been to many places around the world but I hope that by the age of 30 I will have at least traveled much more than I can say now. My father has been an artist for over 50 years and has traveled to many places. He is a huge influence in my life, hence why I am an artist myself and want to travel the world. For a long time I was unsure about what I wanted to major in but I knew that I couldn't let art just be a part of my past. I am very excited for this new year and all the things I will acquire through my classes and growing experiences.
